My Favorite Place

March18

The office with closed doors and the red swivel chair that brings me to the world of Sims 3. A black cat sitting behind the computer, sleeping as my new dog sits on lap. My brother sitting next to me as we create a world for the created characters. This is my favorite place to be.

One reason is that I can have all my electronically devices on next to me. I have my kindle playing Netflix next to me while playing my addicting game. No one bothers me when I’m in the office because it is my Kingdom and they are the peasants.

Another reason is that I feel like nothing is going on in the world around me. I have no homework, no parents yelling at me to do chores and not having to clean my room. I think that being alone is sad but no one is telling me what to do when the doors are closed and the computer is on.

Now you have seen my life behind the closed doors of the office wall. My favorite place is an office. Weird, right? I’m such a nerd and I love my computer. Nothing can go wrong when I go in my safe and secure dreamland.

Expository Writing

February6

The buzzing of the computer router. The keyboard clicks on your phone. The bright screen in the dark. The buzz of receiving a text. This is why electronics are fun.

Computers are very fun because there is so much to do. For example, you could watch your favorite youtubers do stupid challenges, like the dog food challenge, where you have to eat a can of dog food. Then there’s the sims. Build a dream house, even a world for a family you created on the desktop computer that you and your siblings fight for. The fun is video games. Not homework the teachers give over the weekends.

Another reason is that you could go on your electronics and be in a totally different world for hours. This happens to me when I’m playing the sims. I go onto my computer and have my phone on the desk next to it and I will only stop to eat and text my friends. It takes my parents 12 hours to realize where I am.

Unfortunately, when your parents decide to be mad at you (this happens all the time to me) bye, bye electronics. Your phone, gone. Computer, gone. iPad, gone.  Then there’s nothing to do for hours and hours, and you are sitting there staring at a wall.  Where’s the fun in doing homework or reading?

Electronics are fun and I think parents should give their kids more time with them. I love them so much because I love wasting the day on the computer. I’m so lazy! 😊

Weather

January16

The summer storm howled as the wind knocked the trees, racking their branches across the windows, making the noise that sounded like nails on a chalkboard. I saw the flash of bright white light on the ceiling above my bed. Then a clap of thunder, like a bass drum 20 times it’s own sound. I looked outside of the big window above my bed, and could see nothing but pure black. I saw the car beside the garage, with the light from the garage dancing on it’s tinted windows. I hear the howling of coyotes, just barely, over the loud crashes of thunder and the howling wind. I closed my eyes but could not sleep. The rain was to loud, with it’s clapping and it’s flash every 10 seconds, but I managed to slowly drift off.

I woke up the next morning with light coming in through the windows, with a strip of light through the darkness in my room. I slowly stand up and walk down the pale, white carpeted hallway, then the stars after that. I walk into the bright kitchen with fruit on the table and the beige walls but I continue towards the door and walk outside. The smell of rain is overwhelming, while I hear the birds chirping their early morning songs. Then I realize today is the perfect day.

Tears

November25

Sorrow is the black of the coal dust
It tastes like a thousand tears
It smells like the darkened coal dust on the path home
It feels like the searing pain of work and no sleep
It sounds like the screaming of a thousand men shouting for rebellion
It looks like the black, powder, on the streets to the hob
Sadness is as black as the night skies

Place

November10

My favorite place in my neighborhood is the oak forest above the cliff, just so you can see the tops of the trees, above the river. The way the trees bow to the wind is like its own kingdom and it’s amazing to hear the wind blow in spirals and swirls. I love this noise because it just makes me concentrate on one thing and is just as if the wind wants to makes everything dance with it. Sometimes I go to this spot to sing because I don’t like crowds watching me sing or write in my journal that I keep at hidden somewhere safe.

If you enjoyed this I will add more to it. Comment below and happy commenting!!!!

🍬🍬Happy Halloween🍬🍬

October31

Part 1
It’s Halloween guys. The costumes, the candy, the screams and the friendly neighbors. I can’t wait till we start trick-or treating. Here’s the downer part about it this year…. It’s on a Thursday!!😔
I wish there was a way that it could be on a Friday every year. I’m going to be a vampire this year with my fangs, black cape and of course my awesome outfit. I’m going to scare some kids this year too😄. It’ll be fun. I promise.

🎃👻Have a Happy Halloween👻🎃

Halloween Front Porch

October25

I walked forward through the trees as the little girl walked towards the dark and creepy house, with the black cat meowing and staring at her through the window. She looked around but I was blended in with the scenery. The flickering candles suddenly blew out with the autumn wind and she whimpered.
The glowing spider webs showed eight big, unfriendly eyes, shining down. She continued forward, her eyes wide in fear. I shuffled the bushes and the 10 year old screamed. I laughed and she ran to the door clutching her candy bag. I reached out from behind the bushes and brushed her arm, retreating after.
With a look of fear, she dropped her candy bag and ran off. I earned my prize of snickers and twin bars. I heard a scream down the street knowing that was my next victim

My first Tennis tournament

October16

I stopped and waited. Knowing that this was my moment and that they couldn’t beat my spirit. I was ready physically and mentally. My heart started beating so fast I thought it would burst. The sweat rolled down my forehead as I waited for my opponent to serve and start the point. I turned and rocked back and forth on my heels, my stomach flipping and flopping. She served the ball rocket fast giving me a second to react. I returned and got back to the middle of the court ready for the point to continue. It went on for what seemed like forever then I hit the ball with determination and surprise. The look on her face said everything. I had just hit a winner and won the point. I looked at my racket, the yellow shot back at me, almost as if it was smiling back, proud of me for beating a girl I had played only once before and lost to.
After the match my dad came and gave me a big hug. He was so proud of me, I had never seen him smile so much. I watched as the man in blue walked over to me carrying a huge gigantic blue and gold trophy toward me. This was now mine.

Activities I Enjoy

October11

My favorite activity is playing tennis with my friends and riding horses on my ranch. Everyday I’ll go and play tennis with my friend Jackson. I love playing with him because he helps me improve at my game. Which is not very good.

I love my horse because he helps me improve my riding and he makes me happy. Whenever I can I go and visit him because he lives about an hour away.

Tigers

October2

Into the jungle
By the riverbed
Though the rushing water
Around the giant tree
Hiding in the cave
Prepared to jump on top of its prey
Roar!!!!

I wrote this with my best friend Nicole
